My Credit Signal (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates mycreditsignal.com and app.mycreditsignal.com. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website.
Information We Collect
Email addresses — If you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and optionally your first name. We use this only to send you the content you signed up for.
Tool inputs and optional saved data — Local calculator inputs are processed in your browser. If you use account-based tools to save financial information, those saved records are stored for your account. For the AI Credit Analyzer, local file reading is separate from optional dashboard saving, as explained below.
Analytics data — We use standard analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site. This may include information like pages visited, time spent, browser type, and general location (city/region level). The public website also uses a Meta advertising pixel. Analytics and advertising services may process online identifiers and browser activity; this is separate from the analyzer, which does not load those trackers.
AI Credit Analyzer and Saved Dashboard Reports
The free AI Credit Analyzer reads PDFs and screenshots on your device. Selecting a file does not upload it. Raw files and raw extracted text are not saved by the app, and no hosted generative AI receives them. Unsaved analysis remains in the current browser view and is cleared when that view is closed or reloaded. You can permanently redact identifying details before selecting your file.
If you sign in and choose Save to my dashboard, we store only the reviewed, supported financial fields: account categories and optional institution labels, reported balances, limits and past-due amounts, statuses, report and account-opening months, source page numbers, optional inquiry counts and analysis metadata. These facts are financial information even without direct identifiers. The report-saving API does not accept your name, address, SIN/SSN, date of birth, contact details, account numbers, original files or raw OCR text.
Your account email and optional profile name are stored separately for sign-in and account administration. Session cookies support authenticated access. Reports are associated with your account, and access checks restrict saved reports to their owner. The analyzer does not load advertising pixels, session-replay tools or third-party document-processing services. This does not describe tracking on the separate public marketing website.
Free accounts can keep up to 30 reports and create 10 new saved reports per rolling 24 hours. Saved facts expire after one year: expired reports are excluded from dashboard access, and a daily cleanup job removes expired records. You can delete a saved report sooner from the analyzer. Deletion removes the live saved facts. Submission IDs, account IDs and timestamps, without report facts, remain while the account exists for retry, quota and deletion protection. Earlier backup copies, if any, may remain until their retention period ends; immediate erasure from every backup is not promised.
Printouts, PDF copies and downloaded facts remain under your control and are not removed when you delete an online report. Keep these copies private. We use Vercel for app hosting and Supabase for authentication and saved data; the current database is hosted in the United States. Hosting, authentication and email providers may process the data needed to provide these services, including operational request metadata. For account or privacy requests, contact info@mycreditsignal.com without attaching a credit report or including SIN/SSN, date of birth or account numbers.
